The first Deputy Prime Minister for European integration, development and dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, was received today in Brussels by the Special Representative of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak.
The meeting served to discuss the next steps in the dialogue process with Serbia.
Lajcak and Bislmi have posted on social networks about this meeting, with the Slovak saying it was a long discussion.
“We had a long and detailed discussion with Besnik Bislim today in Brussels about the current situation and the next steps in the dialogue”, wrote Lajçak.
While Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi said that Kosovo will continue to participate constructively and actively in the dialogue process.
“Together with the Special Representative of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak, we discussed the next steps in the dialogue process. Kosovo will continue to participate constructively and actively in the dialogue process”, Bislimi wrote.
Recently, Lajcak stated that Serbia and Kosovo have agreed on a high-level meeting and that some agreements between the two countries are ready to be signed, but without specifying what they are about.
