An exhibition of photographs from Japan for the 100th anniversary of the friendly relations started in 1922 between the two countries has opened at the Art Gallery of Tirana.
Mayor Erion Veliaj, while visiting the gallery together with the Japanese ambassador, said that this exhibition personifies the friendly relations between Albania and Japan.
Veliaj: This exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for the youth of Tirana and comes as a contribution of the Japanese embassy in Tirana, it is a window, not big, but small, with about 100 photos, to see a little how similar we are.
Veliaj invited Albanian youth to see this photo exhibition up close to get to know Japan better.
Veliaj: This exhibition is like a little Japan, a Japanese garden, where I believe a young man from Tirana can spend a good hour, so until Tuesday when it will be open, I want to invite anyone who will have a little taste Japan, right in the heart of Tirana.
