The US Ambassador, Yuri Kim on the 13th anniversary of Albania’s membership in NATO said that since April 1, 2009, the value of our country as an ally continues to grow steadily.
Through a post on Twitter, the American top diplomat says that since the day of membership, American and Albanian forces have shed blood, sweat and tears together in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and everywhere else.
“Last year, Albania hosted the largest military exercise ever conducted in the Western Balkans. This year, NATO began upgrading the air base in Kuçova to become a NATO facility. Soon, US experts will begin a new program to ensure that Albania meets NATO objectives. “The United States is proud to be an ally of Albania.” writes on Twitter Kim.
