According to Prodan, in the elections of some Regional Associations the candidates were not even allowed to register:
“It happened in Durrës that the alternative candidates were completely removed. This shows once again that Regional Associations are some formal bodies that exist only on paper. “They hold formal meetings only when there are electoral interests and send delegates to the assembly to vote.”
Prodani says that in the conditions when the elections are being violated, the intervention of state institutions is needed.
“These things happen because we have no independent body to appeal to if we are wronged. In these conditions, the state must intervene to establish sports arbitration, which has been kept on paper for 20 years. ”
