A bikini beachgoer was reportedly attacked by a wild boar which according to witnesses had come out of the sea on the Spanish beach of Costa del Sol.
Footage posted on the network showed tourists screaming and defending themselves as wild boar ran hooves over their towels on the beach.
The beach guards had started chasing the confused animal to get it off the beach, but the pig was running towards the bars and cafes creating more problems.
After some time the specialized groups came to El Albir beach north of the town of Benidorm.
The animal was initially spotted in the water by beach guards who tried to catch it as it headed towards the ground.
It is not yet known how the pig ended up in the sea but it is believed to have come from the nearby Serra Gelada nature park. The park covers about 3000 hectares on the coast and lies in the towns of Benidorm, Alfaz del Pi and the Altea area.
The wild boar had come out of the water while the vacationers were sunbathing in hot weather.
The beach guards sounded their alarm and the pig started running terrorizing the attendees.
He had collided with a woman he bit, but it is not known if the bite was intentional.
The injured 67-year-old woman was the only person to suffer from the wild boar. Doctors cleaned her wound as a preventative measure and gave her antibiotics to prevent infection.
Wild boar numbers seem to have exploded across Europe as they are increasingly attracted to cities, where they feed on human-thrown waste.
