President Joe Biden signed two new bills imposing additional sanctions on Russia and Belarus, the White House announced.
The bill suspends normal trade relations with Russia and Belarus, punishing countries with high tariffs on imports from them.
Energy imports from Russia, including oil, coal and natural gas, will also be banned.
The sanctions mark the administration’s latest move to punish the two countries for their continuing deadly occupation of Ukraine.
