The Presidency has made public the list of 10 candidates for the vacant position as a judge in the Constitutional Court, after the end of the mandate of Përparim Kalos, while among them are Arta Marku and Gent Ibrahimi
The list of applicants and the documentation for each candidate are immediately forwarded to the Judicial Appointments Council for verification.

After the expiration of the application deadline for the vacant position of judge in the Constitutional Court, “Full vacancy”, created due to the declaration of termination of the mandate of a member of the Constitutional Court on 08.04.2022, Mr. Përparim Kalo, with decision no. 42 dated 22.12.2021, of the Constitutional Court, application procedure promulgated by Decree no. 13413, dated 13.01.2022, of the President of the Republic, it turns out that the following citizens have expressed interest and have applied:

The above list of applicants and the documentation for each candidate are immediately forwarded to the Judicial Appointments Council, for verification and evaluation in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution and the law.
Institution of the President of the Republic, referring to point 2 of article 7 / b, of law no. 8577/2000 “On the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Court”, as amended, finds the opportunity to recall that, all public institutions related to the justice system, civil society organizations with activities in the protection of human rights or established for the protection of the interests of the users of the justice system, may submit their opinions regarding the candidacies to the Council of Judicial Appointments.
