He says he has asked to speak with Depp twice, but his requests have been rejected by Depp and his lawyers.

After discussing the excessive use of alcohol and drugs by Depp.
Dr. Spiegel says he is aware that Depp “confessed to making a completely useless film.” He apologizes for not remembering which movie, but goes on to say that “his level of thinking was lowered… if your attention is impaired, the rate of memory will be impaired”.
He says he has treated tens of thousands of patients in his career. He says drugs and alcohol are used by about 75% of his patients. According to him, about 50% of his patients have suffered trauma, and of them, 25% are victims of “partner abuse”.
Psychiatrist David R Spiegel talked about drug and alcohol use.
“When we have the effects of alcohol, we have disinfection… so we can no longer interpret what is in front of you, what is right and wrong, what we should do and what we should not do.”
When asked how substance abuse interacts with the risk factor for intimate partner violence (IPV), Dr Spiegel concludes that alcohol and drugs will make us disinfected and make us act, in many ways different in relation to intimate partner violence ”.
