The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry of Health appeals to all +18 years old who have passed 6 months from the second dose, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
MSMS reminds you that adherence to anticovid protocols is a necessity for health protection.
Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
We remind the citizens that putting on a mask is mandatory in any closed environment.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1150 tests were performed, of which 179 citizens tested positive for COVID19, in the following municipalities:
79 in Tirana, from 10 citizens in Dimal, Lushnje, 7 in Kruja, 6 in Durrës, from 5 citizens in Mat, Saranda, Gjirokastra, from 4 citizens in Korça, Vlora, Lezha, from 3 citizens in Shkodra, Kavaja, Dibra, Pogradec, Skrapar, Gramsh, by 2 citizens in Librazhd, Memaliaj, Këlcyrë, Delvinë, Fier, Rrogozhinë, Kurbin, by 1 citizen in Puka, Kukës, Roskovec, Mallakastër, Dropull, Përmet, Tepelena, Berat.
There are 6383 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 98 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, out of which 10 are in the most serious condition. Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours there are 2 loss of life with SARS-COV2
positive: a citizen from Dibra 60 years old, a citizen from Kolonja 66 years old.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
213 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 201,282 since the beginning of the epidemic.
