The Ministry of the Interior has announced that the essential services of the State Police and Civil Status will be physically offered near the relevant counters, after the blocking of e-Albania and online services.
In the announcement issued by the ministry, it is clarified that this situation dictated by the cyber attack outside Albania will be temporary and a counter-offensive is being carried out by ANA.
“Following the previous communication of the Ministry of the Interior, we want to emphasize that the announcement is only related to the essential services of the State Police and Civil Affairs, which will be physically offered at the relevant counters for citizens until the end of the counterattack. This is a completely temporary situation dictated by the synchronized cyber attack outside Albania, for which a counter-offensive is being carried out by ANA and our allies to return to normal very soon. Online government services are a success story in Albania despite the current gridlock created by the cyber attack. We ask for the understanding of the citizens for the difficulties created”, the ministry announces.
