The serious event that shook Korça and all of Albania today, where a mother is suspected of putting a newborn baby in a suitcase, taking her life, has been the topic of discussion on the show “Albania Live”.
Top Channel journalist Dhorjeta Çule, in a live connection with the show, gave some details about the event, about which she said that the suspected perpetrator of the crime, does not admit to having done such a thing.
She said the lady was constantly visited by her relatives and family but it is not yet known if they were aware of her pregnancy. As for her husband, Klodi Hasimllari, he had been at home for a month and had constantly smelled a heavy odor but only yesterday he managed to find the dead body of the baby.

Dhorjeta Çule: He smelled a scent but it is not a daily occurrence, trying to ascertain what had happened he found the lifeless baby in the suitcase. What we have been told is that the mother does not admit to having killed the child.
Who cared for the lady because she was mentally ill?
Dhorjeta Çule: From the information we have the lady lived only with her son. There are relatives who according to the neighbors went to visit her but most of the time she was alone. The baby was born at home, there is no data on maternity.

Dhorjeta Çule: We have no information whether she had a premature birth or was born after nine months. Maybe everything happened inside the walls of the house, it’s quick to talk. Neighbors knew that the lady had mental health problems and for the husband who was emigrating but nothing more. For the lady there were relatives who were interested and visited her. Her family is located on the outskirts of Korça.
