“Our country needs an explosive, but this is not me, he is someone much, much higher,” Trump said recently.
The former US president believes that the US is in “big trouble”, but again said that he will return “stronger than ever.”
Trump made his comments at the ‘First Baptist of Dallas’ dinner on Sunday in a Christmas message, reports the network CBS Local. He got long cheers as he came on stage along with his friend Robert Jeffress, the old Christian pastor.
“As you know we are in trouble at the moment.” said Trump.
“I believe that our nation is in trouble. I do not believe we have had such a time before after what happened in Afghanistan – something that happened very badly. “Look at our borders and look at inflation, these things can destroy the country.”
“There are many clouds over our country, dark clouds. “But I am convinced that we will come back bigger, stronger.”
Trump continued: “Now our country needs a savior. And this savior is not me. Is someone much higher than me. Much higher. ”
Trump congratulated the crowds on Christmas and said, “This is a very beautiful period,” referring to the Christian religious holiday.
He closed his speech by saying, “America is first. We will make America great again. Thank you very much.”
The CBS branch said Trump spoke in front of a crowd of 4,000 believers.
