The ninth phase of the police operation codenamed “Restart”, launched seven months ago, is being finalized.
The operation conducted by the Section for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking and Narcotics in DVP Korça in cooperation with the Border Police Station Kapshtica and the services of Frontex, under the direction of the Korça Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office.

– LH, 41 years old, resident in Elbasan.
– ZS, 65 years old, resident in the village of Miras, Devoll. The services of the Border Police Station Kapshtica in cooperation with the services of Frontex, have ascertained the above two citizens near the village of Dobranj, Devoll and have signaled you to stop . These citizens, as soon as they saw the Police services in their direction, tried to run away and threw three black bags on the ground. The Border Police and Frontex forces were put in pursuit and made it possible to capture and detain them. During the control exercised inside their bags, a quantity of 42 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis was found, divided into packages, which was seized as material evidence.
In cooperation with the Prosecution, work is underway to fully document the event.
The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Korça Judicial District, for the criminal offense “Narcotics Trafficking” committed in collaboration, remaining an attempt.
