Also for the months of May and June, any increase in consumption over 300 KWh will be covered by 50% of the amount – he said – adding that energy companies will pay their share of solidarity with society and their additional conjunctural income will be taxed at a special rate of 90%.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis: Despite the European decisions, the Greek government, on its own initiative, will launch in July a system that separates the increase in the international price of gas from the country’s electricity bills. The duration of this scheme will be up to one year.
The head of the Greek government has stated that in the coming weeks the program “Recycle – change the device” will start, which reimburses all those who will buy new air conditioners and refrigerators by replacing them with old appliances that consume much more energy. electrical.
