After lifting tons of weight in various international activities, Briken Çalja, Erkand Qerimaj and Evangjeli Veli will have the chance to raise the flag on the highest podium in Tirana this time in front of the fans and their supporters. The president of FSHP Elez Gjoza is convinced of the objective that these athletes have.
“I call on the fans to be as present as possible on the day of the competition of our athletes who will undoubtedly be within the medal zone in this European and these will not be just their medals or the weightlifting federation but “will be the medals of Albania”, he said
The European Jubilee Championship, the 100th in the history of European weightlifting will start on May 28 and will end on June 5, while the competition of Albanian athletes will be on May 30.
