As part of the operation, 3 citizens are handcuffed for stealing apartments and vehicles.

During the operation, 2 other citizens were handcuffed for the criminal offenses “False report” and “Failure to report a crime”. Both of these persons convicted of murder and theft in Albania, Italy and Switzerland.

Following the uninterrupted work by the structures of the Police Commissariat no. 4 and in implementation of the plan of measures for prevention, detection and crackdown on criminal activity in the field of theft of apartments and vehicles, based on information obtained during the investigation and operational route, was organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Alliasi ”, In the framework of which the citizens were caught and arrested:

– KQ, 23 years old, previously convicted, and GB, 19 years old, both residents of Tirana.

The arrest of these citizens was made after they were caught red-handed trying to steal from the apartment of a citizen in “Selaudin Bekteshi” street. It is also suspected that they stole the apartment of a citizen in Lanabregas.

From all the investigative actions it has resulted that these citizens are perpetrators of several other thefts of apartments in the territory of the Police Commissariat no. 4. Investigative work continues to document them with legal evidence.

The above citizens studied the places and flats that were stolen and operated in the late hours of the night, interrupting the electric lighting of the street and the cameras at the entrance of the flats.

As material evidence, some of the items were seized, which turned out to be stolen in the above-mentioned apartments.
Work is underway for the full legal documentation of the criminal activity of these citizens.

Also within the operation, the citizen VK, 33 years old, resident of “Barjam Curri” street, previously convicted, was caught and arrested.

This citizen was caught red-handed, in cooperation with the services of the Police Commissariat no. 2 Tirana, in the street “Kosovars”. The 33-year-old was pursued by the police services of the Police Commissariat no. 4, after stealing a “BMW” vehicle, owned by a citizen living on “Myslym Keta” street.

Also, in the framework of the operation, the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses “False report” and “Failure to report a crime”:

* AK, 47 years old, resident in Tirana and FL, 48 years old, resident in Tirana, both previously convicted of murder and theft.

The citizen AK had made a false report in the Police Commissariat no. 4, that they had stolen his vehicle, which was found abandoned on the side of the road in Peqin, Elbasan.

Investigative actions have shown that these two citizens had gone to steal from an apartment in Peqin and when they saw the police services at the checkpoint, while they were in violation of the curfew, they abandoned the vehicle in order to hide things. illegals they had in the vehicle, which they would use to commit theft.

Citizen AK, in 1997, in cooperation with another citizen, killed with a firearm, a citizen, in the area of ​​Laç and for this he served 18 years in prison. The FL citizen has served 16 years in prison in Italy, for murder.

These citizens, after serving a sentence of two years in prison in Switzerland, for theft, from 2018 to 2020, were deported from Switzerland and returned to Albania.

Investigations show that these two citizens, together with another citizen currently in England, were engaged in criminal activity in the field of theft in Italy and Switzerland, in the form of a criminal group.

In cooperation with the Prosecution, the investigative work continues for the full disclosure of the criminal activity of these persons.
