Many Ukrainian families have been forced to flee their homes, leaving behind everything they had built over the years. For the little ones all that matters are their toys and a Ukrainian little girl regained the pleasure the moment she found in England the same doll she had left in Ukraine.
Little Veronica was forced to move with her mother Tatyaana to Surery in the UK after being involved in the British ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme
The mother and daughter arrived with only one suitcase, so they needed supplies. As soon as they arrived in Britain, the sponsoring family took them to a local organization called Stripey Stork, which provides practical goods for families in need based on the food bank.
Little Veronica was very excited when among the toys, diapers and toilet, she found a doll the same as the one she had to leave behind in Ukraine.
