The ballerina of veteran singer Mick Jagger, Melanie Hamrick, is writing an erotic novel, the American media of ‘showbiz’ wrote today.
Hamrick, 35, who has been dating the Rolling Stones’ legendary vocalist since 2014 and has a 5-year-old son, is reportedly writing an erotic novel about the world of ballet.
Media sources said that she told friends that her novel focuses on the “dirty world behind the scenes of the dance industry”.
The ballerina, who has already given up, says for the media: “I have been working on a book for a year and I am nearing the end”.
Hamrick has danced with the American Ballet Theater for 15 years until he hung his shoes on the nail in 2019.
Jagger is also said to have attempted to write a memoir, possibly inspired by his girlfriend, but reportedly found it a monotonous process without much emotion.
“I think I started it in the ’80s when I was offered a lot of money, that was the biggest attraction,” the 78-year-old musician said of the possibility of writing a book, in an interview with BBC 6 Music News. “I started it and it was boring, I could not do it and I returned the money to the publishers,” he said.
His bandmate Keith Richards has co-authored a memoir with Life with journalist James Fox.
