Neighbors have expressed their grief over the death of 18-year-old Anri Kashiku the day before, after he saved his brother and friend from drowning.
In the village, they consider him a hero, as he not only saved two lives, but saved a family from extinction. One of the minors who escaped was an only child.
“He did a great heroism. He saved his brother and another boy. The other was an only son, neither sister nor brother. His mother was working abroad and his father was at work. Medet about his life”says a relative of the family.
The 18-year-old will be escorted to his last residence this afternoon.
In the midst of pain and grief, relatives and fellow villagers arrived near the family, who opened the mortuary doors.
The serious incident happened in the afternoon the day before on the beach of the Youth Sector in Durrës.
The thing that hit the family brought the father back from England, who had been living and working there for several years to ensure the future of his three children and his wife in the homeland.
Anri was the eldest son of the Kashiku family who, a few years ago, moved from Librazhdi on the outskirts of Durrës, to the “Mirdita” neighborhood of the Youth Sector.
In emigration, his father considered Anri the pillar of the house. Everyone knows him as a good boy, responsible and passionate about football.
