A former teacher who killed, dismembered and ate the body parts of a 43-year-old man he knew online has been sentenced to life in prison in Germany.
Stefan R, 42, was found guilty of murder after the heinous crime of September 6, 2020.
The presiding judge, Matthias Sert, said Stefan had committed the crime “to carry out his cannibalistic fantasy” and described it as “inhuman”.
In the thirty years of his career, the judge said that “he has never encountered such a case”. The accused remained silent while reading the decision.
