Christiane Hohmann has been appointed Head of the EU Delegation to Albania, replacing Luigi Soreca.
She is currently the German Ambassador to Estonia and has previously served as German Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The appointment was made by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, who appointed 31 heads of Delegations of the European Union.
