In the partially burned car in which Brilant Martinaj, Diklen Vata and Besmir Hoxha were traveling, experts found 2 partially burned cell phones and the remains of a third cell phone, which did not constitute valid evidence.
The two cell phones have been taken to the laboratory where they are expected to be analyzed to obtain data that will help the investigators to discover the movements of the victims before the assassination and the last phone calls by means of cell phones and antennas. There are doubts that the young people may have been ambushed by their acquaintances.
The police have seized about 60 hours of footage from the security cameras at the scene and in a wider area, which will be observed by the investigative group.
So far, the police have identified two tools used by the assassins in the killing of 3 young people. A Volkswagen vehicle tracked the victims from behind on the secondary road Kamëz – Fushkrujë, while the other Volkswagen vehicle in which the 3 killers were traveling and their driver moved on the main road Vorë – Fushkrujë. It is suspected that the killers’ vehicle was parked a few meters away from the overpass and synchronized the movements with the target of the attack with the help of the car and tracked the young people.
All the vehicles and people who were filmed in the perimeter near the scene of the incident will be screened by the police as there are suspicions of other accomplices in the crime.
