Experts at scientific levels compare the models for biological expertise by extracting criminal truths against murderers who, although they killed in a sophisticated manner, were betrayed by their bodies.

“This is a blood stain, on the basis of which we follow the profile of a person or several persons and with robotics extract what is needed for the investigation. We have a daily work process, the moment an author is taken out through the hair, we find hair in blankets, hats, clothes, the hair is opened, photographed and sampled”says Erida Mesi, biological expert.
But recently, court requests for paternity recognition have increased.
“These are expertises that last one or two days“, explains Mesi to journalist Anila Hoxha.
“At that time we did not have a DNA laboratory, for all these events we kept evidence files in the hope that when these evidences were implemented in the laboratory and in fact it happened that we kept evidence at minus 40 degrees and through which we have obtained”, says Armanda Deda, biological expert.

“It was the case of Aidhe Vata’s murder, we stayed on the ground, took profiles and found out that the deceased was murdered, and we found out with DNA that the deceased was pregnant and what was the author’s profile. This happened within 48 hours and this case was the first that shocked the police and they realized how important this“, explains Ela Zaimi, head of the biological and DNA examinations sector.
Is it difficult to identify the missing?
Difficult, but we have identified two so far, one of them from the femur of the molar, says the expert.
The file under investigation, recently revealed through DNA, is the identification of the missing child Mariglen Gjonaj after seven years, for whom the family denounced and sought his fate time after time.

“There was a teenager who disappeared in the Lezha area, his bones had come to the surface from animals, the experts brought us bone remains, we compared them with his family and identified the bones”, says Aleksandër Bushati, DNA expert.
“Not only the citizens who have searched for the relatives who are claimed to be missing or may really be missing, but also other institutions for the victims of communism, which is a prestigious institution, has made an agreement with the police so that we can give our contribution as scientific police to find the victims of communism.
