31-year-old British Nicola Floss works as a police detective during the day, but has already been crowned Miss England of doable forms.
The crime-fighting beauty won first prize in a competition called ‘Miss Voluptuous England’ and says she does so to spread awareness of the body’s positivity during the pandemic.
31-year-old Nicola says she wants to push “boundaries, break stereotypes and challenge the limits of the world of female beauty.
Nicolas’s victory is a reflection of the 2001 film with Sandra Bullock in which the protagonist is an FBI agent who infiltrates as a beauty contestant to capture a terrorist.
Earlier this month Nicola celebrated her victory with professional photos. She is seen in a blue swimsuit with beads, a red body dress with wings as well as a short dress with embellishments.
Nicola won the competition held virtually on February 6th.
The beauty of the masses said: “The pandemic has shocked the nation but I wanted to do something for charity and where everyone is involved. “It’s a very important personal victory, especially in a time of pandemic.”
She adds that her police colleagues have fully supported her in her campaign for bodily self-confidence.
Although Nicola says she is massively healthy, she adds that she cannot find her favorite clothes in the usual stores. She says she went through eating disorders, and bodily dysmorphia that caused her depression and anxiety, for which she received professional help at the age of 25.
She explains: “For me personally it was a big upgrade as I had a negative relationship with my body but I can now help others understand that no one can be perfect.”
