Nearly a third of the citizens who have taken a Covid test in the last 24 hours, have tested positive, a figure higher than any other day in the last two months.
Specifically, there are 581 new cases out of 1534 tests performed in total.
The highest number of infections is in Tirana, with 329. 45 positive cases have been confirmed in Fier, 23 in Lezha, 18 in Durrës, by 13 citizens in Kurbin, Kruja, Vlora, by 12 citizens in Lushnja, Elbasan, 10 in Gjirokastra, from 9 citizens in Shkodra, Saranda, Berat, from 7 citizens in Roskovec, Divjaka, from 5 citizens in Kamza, Gramsh, from 4 citizens in Vora, Maliq, Pogradec, from 3 citizens in Vau i Dejes, Puka, Përmet, Poliçan, from 2 citizens in Shijak, Kavaja, Patos, Mallakastër, Himarë, Librazhd, from 1 citizen in Malësi e Madhe, Tropojë, Delvinë, Memaliaj, Kolonjë, Skrapar.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 2,528 active citizens with Covid 19 nationwide.
Currently 21 patients are receiving treatment at COVID3 hospital, while in the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with Sars-Cov2.
217 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 274,271 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Given the increase in the number of citizens affected by Covid 19, the Ministry of Health again calls on citizens not to neglect anti-Covid vaccination, especially in this period of increasing contacts, due to movements during the summer season. Anyone over the age of 12 can be vaccinated at health centers across the country.
