In an interview for CNN, the first lady of our country also spoke about mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia.
She said that the sooner Serbia comes to its senses, the better it will be for both parties and the region in general.
“Mutual recognition is the main step in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. And as soon as Serbia realizes that Kosovo’s independence is an irreversible reality, it will be better for them, our relations and long-term peace and stability in the region”, said Osmani.
The head of the country has also spoken about Kosovo’s membership in NATO. She said that this is not only important for Kosovo, but also for the security of the region at the time of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
“NATO will be stronger only with countries like Kosovo, which believes in the same values and wants to contribute. This is also the reason why we immediately imposed sanctions on Russia after the invasion of Ukraine”, said Osmani. / Kosovo Press
