Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited Bucha as more evidence of atrocities near Kiev continues to emerge.
He inspected the road on which a Russian convoy was ambushed and spoke to locals. The Ukrainian president reiterated that Russia had committed war crimes and genocide in Ukraine.
Asked if it was still possible to discuss peace with Russia, he said: “Yes, because Ukraine must have peace. We are in 21st century Europe. “We will continue our diplomatic and military efforts.”
Wearing a bulletproof vest, he is photographed among Ukrainian soldiers and looks quite clearly on his sad face as he sees the masquerades that have been carried out in Bucha.
