2692 citizens have been arrested in protests in Russia against the war in Ukraine since Thursday.
At least 1,370 of them were arrested in protests in Moscow, while continuing in at least 27 cities.
On Thursday, Russia’s Investigative Committee warned that participating in any anti-war protests was illegal.
He also said that criminal offenses could be included in the participants’ criminal records, which would “leave a mark on the person’s future”.
