Vlora police and firefighters have been helped by amateur climbers to rescue a Polish tourist in the Gjipe canyon.
Yesterday during an attempt to take pictures in the canyon, he fell at a height of 50 meters.
After many hours, the tourist received the first medications.
He was pulled out of the canyon with great difficulty and sent to the hospital in Vlora. He told the story himself.
“I called the police around 1:30 pm, after I fell. Help came immediately even though the terrain is known. I had gone there as I wanted to take pictures seeing also the wonderful view that area offers. I’m injured, more so on foot. Now I’m fine but everything was very difficult.
The nurse of the Himara health center was the first to give him help.
