A 29-year-old man was injured this Monday on the Librazhd-Elbasan road axis, due to the humidity on the road, it is suspected that he lost control of the vehicle.
The accident happened in the place “Murrash Bridge”, around 12:00. The car collided with the metal curb on the side of the road, where fortunately the citizen with the initials ML was not injured.
In this road axis, accidents are frequent and fatal cases have not been absent.
On February 1, at the ‘Murrash Turn’, a “Benz ML” type vehicle collided with another vehicle and after losing control, ended up about 300 meters down, in the Shkumbin River.
This vehicle in an attempt to escape the stones falling from the mountain slope came out and cut the way of the Benz ML type vehicle. The latter due to speed and difficult terrain tried to avoid the accident but unfortunately ended up in the waters of the river Shkumbin, leaving three citizens dead.
