Wayne Rooney refuses his heart squad to stay at Derby County.
The former Manchester United striker, who took his first steps in his career at the club from Goodison Park, has rejected Everton’s offer to entrust the bench after the dismissal of Rafael Benitez, but it was Rooney himself who said no.
Regarding this rejection Rooney has expressed:
“Everton have contacted my agent to offer me the vacant position of coach. It was a difficult decision but I rejected it. I am sure that one day I will lead in the Premier League and I think I am ready.
And if one day I were to sit on the Everton bench it would be something big. “At the moment I have started a job in Derby County which I have to complete successfully”, declared Wayne Rooney.
