Russia has decided to close its airspace to 36 countries, including European countries and Canada.
The move, announced Monday by the state aviation agency, follows a decision by the EU and Canada over the weekend to close their skies to Russian aircraft in response to Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
Russian airlines are using other routes to travel from Kaliningrad territory to the Baltic Sea countries after the European Union decided to close its airspace.
