Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha seems to be the most active politician on Facebook at the moment, publishing 34 posts and receiving over 275 thousand reactions from people during the last week. Data were collected by the advisory agency “Terra”, while the study was conducted in two periods; December 13-19 and December 20-26. The analysis was done by analyzing the number of responses, posts and KUP (Kilo user / post = Total feedback per post) that each politician represents.
Berisha, who has a smaller number of likes on his site than Prime Minister Edi Rama, has distributed five posts less than Rama in the last week, but has received more reactions than he. Lulzim Basha, who has a page with 657 thousand likes, had 16 posts in the last week and received 38 thousand responses.
Edi Rama, who has long been very active on Facebook, had 39 posts in the last week and received 271 thousand reactions, marking a very small difference with his historical rival on social networks, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
In third place is the leader of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla. In the last week he has posted 53 posts and received 42 thousand responses.
Lulzim Basha, the leader of the Democrats, who is the least active on social networks, ranks fourth.
The leader of the Democrats is followed by the former leader of the Democratic Youth, Belind Këlliçi, who is also very active on his Facebook page where he has 49 thousand likes. He distributed only 10 posts over the past week and received 31,000 responses.

Social media has become the preferred platform for politicians to communicate with the people.
During the last parliamentary elections, a kind of contest was created as to which of the politicians collected the most likes on Facebook.
But likes are not always real people. There are many companies around the world known as click farms, which offer likes on Facebook using non-existent people’s accounts.
For many years, Facebook has set up an algorithm that determines how many of the people who liked a page will receive posts on that page.
Usually when a page posts something, that post appears to 2 to 45 percent of all people who have liked that page. The same goes for individual posts of people who have made hundreds of friendships on social media.
