Sculptors from different parts of the world have left traces of their creativity in the city of Korça where for years an outdoor museum of contemporary art has been created with sculptures of different shapes, dimensions and themes.
But while after the absence due to the pandemic in Korça, the 10th edition of the International Sculpture Symposium has started, in the works that stand in the Youth Park, the damages are obvious.
Atmospheric agents on the one hand and intentional damage by humans have caused some of these works to suffer irreparable damage as if interventions are made the works lose their value
The return of the Symposium has made this year in Korça there are 5 sculptors from Albania, Kosovo, Greece and Denmark who will work for 10 days in order to create their works but it remains difficult for them to be kept under observation.
For Korça the Sculpture Symposium remains an important activity which aims to increase the diversity of cultural elements in the city
