Seven citizens infected with Covid 19 have lost their lives in the last 24 hours in our country, while 1001 new infections have been recorded.
The victims are two citizens from Vlora 55 and 82 years old, one citizen from Shkodra 66 years old, four citizens from Tirana 66-93 years old.
According to the bulletin published by the Ministry of Health, out of 3,956 tests performed in total, 394 people tested positive for coronavirus in Tirana, 57 in Kruja, 54 in Fier, 53 in Vlora, 45 in Berat, 39 in Lushnja, 35 in Durrës, 30 in Saranda, 27 in Shkodra, 25 in Gjirokastra, 24 in Elbasan, 18 in Kamza, 17 in Kuçova, 16 in Lezha, 13 in Tepelena, 10 in Kurbin, Mallakastra, 9 in Gramsh, 8 in Vora, Peqin, 7 in Vau i Dejës, Patos, Divjakë, Devoll, Dimal, 6 in Selenica, Përmet, 5 in Himara, Delvinë, Korçë, 4 in Tropojë, Memaliaj, Poliçan, 3 in Kukës, Pogradec, Cërrik, Prrenjas, 2 in Malësi e Madhe, Fushë- Arrëz, Mirditë, Kavaja, Këlcyrë, 1 in Puka, Has, Rrogozhinë, Dibër, Klos, Rroskovec, Konispol, Libohovë, Dropull, Maliq, Skrapar, Belsh, Librazhd.
There are currently 16,427 active patients with Covid, a figure that has been declining in recent days, while 1,803 other citizens have been negated, bringing the number of cured to 242,445 since the beginning of the epidemic.
128 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 23 are in more serious condition.
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of the anti Covid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health. Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid 19.
