For the first time in Korça, nude paintings made by the folk painter Vangjush Mio were exhibited.
The museum house of the great artist underwent a reconstruction and opened its doors to visitors this weekend. Among Mios’s masterpieces were also those that are exhibited for the first time and that are part of the treasure he left behind.
The landscape painted by Mio is unrepeatable and his paintings occupy an important place in the apartment – museum while nude works other than those he had realized for his diploma work come to light for the first time.
The opening of the Vangjush Mios museum has been an early request of the family and the city to give him the place he deserves in his hometown and that he loved so much.
