The troops of the light infantry battalion have been trained in extreme weather conditions in the Vithkuq area. The 72-hour “Survival” exercise of the Land Infantry Battalion was aimed at testing deployment capabilities.
This exercise is also conducted in the interest of NATO certification in September of the Light Infantry Battalion Group.
Agim Kuçana: The training program in this region includes as you attended the demonstrations, actions in attack, actions in extreme weather conditions with personnel and vehicles. Of course we tested the terrain with these vehicles during all these hours of stay in this region. The program continues with the part of the march as well as in the snow-covered terrain and in conditions of extreme cold weather.
Exercise in addition to during extreme cold weather conditions will continue in other periods as well as in summer.
