Tensions after the Tirana-Zrinjeski match outside the “Air Albania” stadium, 25 fans escorted

The Police Services intervened to escort some fans of the Bosnia and Herzegovina team, who threw hard objects and pyrotechnics during the match.

During the moment of their escort, the rest of the fans of this team opposed the police officers with force and strong objects, in order not to allow them to accompany them.

The Police Services, in order to neutralize the violent acts of the fans, have used tear gas to disperse them.

As a result of acts of violence by the fans, a police officer and a fan were injured, who are in the hospital, under the care of doctors, out of danger.

The police clarifies that there were no gunshots and the work continues to escort other persons involved in violent acts against police officers.

On 19.07.2022, at the “Air Albania” stadium, after the end of the match Tirana-HSK Zrinjeski Mostar of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the exit of the fans, the police services intervened to escort some fans of the Bosnia and Herzegovina team, who during During the match, they threw hard objects and pyrotechnics.
