Turkey’s Defense Ministry said the death toll from a military helicopter crash in Turkey has risen to 11.
The accident happened in the province of Bitlis. The injured soldiers were taken to hospital, while doctors and members of the security service are at the site where the helicopter crashed.
The cause of the helicopter crash, as announced by the Ministry of Defense, was a malfunction in the plane. The helicopter was on its way to Tatvan, the province near Bingol, when it disappeared from radar.
