A 37-year-old man who was wreaking havoc in the New Ring area has fallen into the hands of the capital’s police.
During the police operation codenamed “Unaza”, clothes that he used to commit thefts were also seized, as well as other suspected stolen items.
After several weeks of investigation, EY, 37 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested.
From February of this year until yesterday evening, who was caught red-handed by the services of the Crime Investigation Section of the Police Commissariat no. 6, the citizen EY stole items and money, in 6 vehicles that were in different garages in the New Ring.
In cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues to document other thefts that may have been committed by him, and to identify and apprehend his accomplices.
According to the police, the materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
