The prefect of Vlora, Flamur Mamaj, says that the Canader planes that were there yesterday will no longer come, the reason being their size and the filling with 9,000 liters of water, which made it impossible to climb the 1900 m mountain of Çika.
Meanwhile, according to the prefect, two planes with children are expected to arrive from Greece.
Until the planes arrive, the fire will continue to burn the spruce forest. Also, 20 soldiers are on standby if the situation worsens.
