A fire that broke out in the center of Barcelona has injured at least nine people, where one of them is in critical condition, has notified the Spanish emergency service.
According to the AP, the Catalan television has published the video that seems to have been made with a smartphone, where a person jumps out of the third floor window and ends up on a mattress that was placed on the sidewalk, to “reduce the power” from the jump, reports. Telegraph.
Local media report that at least one person was forced to jump out the window to escape the fire, which would certainly be fatal for them.
Ambulance spokesman Zulma Ica said that a man is in critical condition, and the police are investigating the causes that led to the fire.
