The neighbors say that in the first moments, Janulla forgot the boy inside the apartment and went out himself. Then, he had to wait for the arrival of the fire brigade to enter the house.
“Janulla came out first and forgot for a moment the child inside her. Her daughter was not at home, she had gone out. The child was crying loudly. The fire brigade intervened and pulled him out. We saw when they took the child out, he had turned black from the smoke. He was alive, but later we learned from the police that he died.”
In the information provided by the journalist of Top Channel, Dorjana Bezat, it is said that the fire broke out in the basement in an isolated environment, while it is suspected that it happened because of the canister that was used for cooking.
Two firefighting units intervened at the scene and the baby was able to get out of the apartment alive, but died in the hospital due to asphyxiation.
