The alienation of 10 thousand square meters of state land in the Çuka Canal in Saranda seems to involve more people than the prosecution has identified. In the early hours of this Monday morning, as yet unidentified persons have activated a fire in the office of notary Aleko Anagnostini who has been arrested as involved in this alienation of property and is in prison for 45 days.
The fire was aimed at burning documents that were in the office. Sources from the police, told Top Channel that the fire was activated around 4.00.
The perpetrator of the arson opened the door of the notary office and threw fuel on the documents and set them on fire. The door had no security element and could be easily opened by pushing.
There were also no security cameras in the office, while there are in the area, but so far the police have not found valid data for the investigation.
For the movements, the perpetrators were also helped by the darkness that had covered the sananda on Sunday evening after a defect in the substation due to which this city was left without electricity for several hours.
The operation for the case of alienation of about 10 thousand square meters of state land took place on June 1, where 6 people, including the director of urban planning and the notary, were handcuffed while 4 others were declared wanted.
Among those wanted were business brothers Behar and Bedri Muçobega. A few days later, the Saranda Court released 4 of the 6 arrested from cell. Only the notary Aleko Anagnostini and one of the beneficiaries of the land, Fredi Merkuri, were left in prison for 45 days, they were left in the security measure “prison arrest” for 45 days.
