The period of July and August are the vacation months for many, but for football they are the preparation months for the next season.
Apart from the categories of professional football, the massive part of this sport is young people and children. For them this year, the Albanian Football Federation, after contributing balls or subsidizing match officials and organizers, has promised a project to supply them with the entire game and training set. The general secretary of the AFL, Ilir Shulku, tells Top Channel how many children benefit from this project.

“There are about 15,000 children who, starting from the start of this year, will have at their disposal the bag with the game uniforms and everything else that a football player needs. This is a project that will start this year but will be annual and has a cost of 1 million euros per year”, said Shulku.
What stage is this project currently in when there are less than two months left from the start of the new season for children.
“Within the next week, the process of sending the colors and sizes of the uniforms will be closed and their production will begin, while the distribution will be in September,” said Shulku.
Meanwhile, the new football season will start sooner than in previous years, on August 20, but almost a month before this season, the draw has not yet been made, a delay is also related to the licensing of the newly introduced team in this category, Erzenit. , which could not meet the criteria of the stadium and will probably play the matches in the “Niko Dovana” stadium in the city of Durrës.
“Next week, it is scheduled that the lottery for the superior category will be drawn so that the teams know how to schedule the new season based on the calendar,” said Shulku.
Tonight, the next two European matches will be played for the Albanian clubs, Partizani Saburtalo and Iskra Laçi.
“Starting from the first game that got a very good result and I am convinced that he will pass this tour or rather I hope to pass it as it will help him a lot both financially and in sports, Laçi all these years the latter is used to face decently in European competitions and I think and hope that they will also qualify”, said Shulku.
