The painter Bujar Zajmi belongs to the generation of Albanian painters who started their creativity in the mid-60s of the XX century. The desire to create an art different from that of socialist realism before the 90s forced the artist to create his works in the studio, secretly. Works which were exhibited only after the 90s.
The essential thing in his work is the reflection of man in different life and concrete situations. The full creativity of the artist Bujar Zajmi is preserved in the rather modest studio house, packed like an art gallery.
Stylizing and interpreting the images of his figures, Zajmi prefers colors with transparent light, characteristic of him as well as his strong tendency towards cubism.
