Lezha police have arrested one person and prosecuted 10 others after blocking the road axis Lezha-Shkodra, in a sign of revolt to increase the price of fuel and food.
In a press release, the police explains that these persons blocked the road by not allowing the passage of vehicles in both directions of movement on the road Lezha-Shkodra and for this reason 1 citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto, and 10 others were prosecuted.
Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Lezha Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses “Organizing and participating in an illegal protest”, “Obstructing the circulation of vehicles” and “Objection to a police officer, citizen Gj.Gj., resident in Lezha, as well as prosecuted the citizens EL, K.Sh., K.Ll., F.Ll., E.Ll., AN, LN, L.Gj., GK, and DF, as in the place called “Rrethrrotullimi of Shengjin ”have blocked the road axis Lezhë-Shkodër by not allowing the circulation of vehicles from both senses of movement.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Lezha Court of First Instance, for further action.
Lezha Local Police Directorate, appeals to all citizens not to block the free movement of vehicles and citizens because they will face the force of law.
