The Ministry of Health in Kosovo announced that on Monday, January 24, 2,243 new cases of coronavirus were registered, after testing 8,416 samples.
The positivity rate from the samples taken is 20.73 percent.
Two victims have been registered in the last 24 hours.
Health authorities have also reported that 465 people have recovered while 19,519 people are still active in the coronavirus.
Kosovo launched its coronavirus vaccination campaign in March last year.
More than 1.7 million doses of the vaccine have been given since then.
So far, 799,939 people or 44.5 percent of the population have been immunized with two doses of the vaccine.
