US Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Paul Ahern stated in Belgrade that all those Serbs from northern Kosovo who were sanctioned by the US should be held accountable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
“Individuals and companies subject to these sanctions should be held accountable, while their activities, which cause destabilization, should be stopped,” the US Embassy in Serbia quoted Ahern as saying.<\/p>\n
The US Treasury Department, on December 8, added to the list of leading sanctions of the organized crime group in Kosovo and companies led by them with the motivation that they caused destabilization and carried out corrupt activities, harming the citizens and the economy of Kosovo and of Serbia.<\/p>\n
