Although social networks are full of thousands of job postings and businesses are constantly looking for employees, officially it turns out that at the end of 2020, 92 thousand jobseekers were registered with the Employment Offices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>While 2020 turned out to be the most difficult among businesses to provide labor, from sanitary workers, electricians, plumbers, waiters or bartenders, paradoxically the number of unemployed increased by 35% at the end of 2020, compared to the beginning of 2020 . <\/p>\n<p>The regions with the highest increase in unemployment are led by Shkodra with 76%, Vlora 67% and Berat with 53%.  About 38 thousand individuals or 46% of the total turn out to be long-term unemployed for at least 3 years It is noted that there is no match between the professions required by businesses and the unemployed.<\/p>\n<p>32% of the unemployed have basic professions and 18% are craftsmen and craftsmen, professions for which there is currently a great hunger in the Albanian market.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this huge hunger for labor, 25,141 vacancies were officially announced throughout 2020, of which 24% were replacements.
